Our team in Juba has admitted 32 new boys into our Boy's GIFT (God's Institute For Transformation) program. Some of the boys have waited a long time.

Although all homeless children in South Sudan are disadvantaged, we prioritize orphans and those who are willing to receive spiritual and academic training. Due to the overwhelming number of homeless children, we can only take a few at a time. So we visit the rest in 20 locations while they remain on the streets and support them by providing food, cleaning their wounds, and praying for them.

Following their admission to our GIFT home, they each received hygiene supplies, which made them really happy. We also helped them orient their hearts to God with a special evening devotional.

Father in Heaven, we pray for this new intake of GIFT boys, that You will do mighty works in their hearts! We pray that through You each one will grow emotionally, spiritually, intellectually, and physically that they may honor You with all of their hearts, souls, minds, and strengths.

We thank You for the faithful example of Carole who says to bring the children, even if it is a time when it doesn't seem possible with the resources we have. And we pray that You will meet all of our needs in caring for these boys as we lean into You! Amen.
