Day by day, transformation is happening in the lives of our GIFT boys. And it starts with loving them as our heavenly Father loves us.
Last week at our GIFT center in Juba, South Sudan, our new boys were happy and grateful to receive new clothes, which our GIFT fathers helped distribute. This simple act of love helps our boys from the street believe in their new identity as God's adopted children. One boy even said, "I never knew that I am so loved by my heavenly Father."
One boy used to be known as Rasta - a name that can denote authority. Yet this boy has now claimed a new identity as Abuna (Man of God).
God's precious boys express gratitude to the donors for the change of wardrobe and the change of heart it helped bring.
"I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation..." (Isaiah 61:10a).
