In March, Favor FM joined thousands of media channels across Northern Uganda to stream Christ Embassy's three-day program with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of prayer for the sick called "Healing Streams".

Through this three-day event, our team received a mind-blowing number of reports from Favor FM listeners about healings and breakthroughs they received from God.

Margaret had suffered for two weeks with swelling in her stomach. Margaret wasn't a believer, but God was drawing her to seek Him. As she listened to Pastor Chris rebuke evil spirits, she felt a cooling sensation and received healing in her stomach. We had the privilege of talking with her after this and she received salvation!

For others, their healing came after years of hardship and waiting on God.

In 2018, Brenda's sight developed a problem that prevented her from tolerating direct rays of light. Also six years ago, Regina started having to rely on her son Denis to help her walk because she could no longer walk alone.

As Pastor Chris prayed for the sick, Regina heard a voice telling her to throw away the walking stick she had used for those 6 long years. She is now totally healed and walking strong. Likewise, Brenda also received healing in her eyes during prayer and can now see again!

"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." - James 5:16, NIV

Numerous hearts were also healed from emotional wounds that drove them to alcoholism. Isaac from Kalang and Charles from Gwengdia are two alcoholics who were brought to freedom in Christ through this event. Evelyn from Nanda also glorifies God for her mother who was an alcoholic who received deliverance through prayer during the event.

Even with all of these testimonies, we're barely scratching the surface of all the healings received and the lives brought to salvation. We praise God for the opportunity to partner with Him in bringing healing to so many!
