It's an exciting time when our Portable Bible Schools (PBS) begin a new year and hundreds of our missionaries spread out far and wide.

What makes this so exciting? We are blessed to partner with God in several ways that bring transformation to the nations. Among those ways, our PBS missionaries bring the transformative, restorative Word of God and power of His Spirit to some of the hardest-to-reach individuals in a very personal way. Here are three testimonies of individuals from Eastern Uganda who have found freedom in Christ this season.

"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, 'Your God reigns!'" - Isaiah 52:7, ESV

Natuke Nachungae used to earn her living as the custodian for the clan idol. Everyone from her clan would consult her for demonic help. But when she heard the Gospel, Natuke turned away from the idolatry of her clan and accepted Jesus! She was very excited to learn of the PBS our missionaries would be leading and committed herself to the training.

Matthew lonyia had been driven mad due to overdosing on drugs. He lost his senses and became very violent and dangerous. As a necessity to those around him, he had to be chained.

Our PBS team arrived and went from house to house in evangelism and to seek interested participants for the PBS. When they arrived where Matthew was, they prayed for him and our mighty God healed him instantly! He praises God for his healing and has fully engaged himself in the PBS training, wanting to serve God with his life.

Lotyiang Levius Karim's understanding of God had been limited to the framework of Islam. A demon overtook him and drove him to far-off places from his home in Nakapiripirit. He moved across the border to Kenya, for the longest time unaware of how the demon was torturing him.

God gave Lotyiang a divine appointment with one of our field missionaries who shared the Gospel with him. Suddenly, he was able to know God as a loving Father and His divine power to spiritually deliver him. Lotyiang accepted Jesus as Savior and now testifies to being completely delivered!

We praise God for the opportunity to be His hands and feet to the least reached!
