Our radio ministry team brings restoration to homes through the Word of God and through prayer, in person and over the airwaves.
We rejoice especially in the opportunities to sow directly into individuals and families. Here are two recent stories of how God brought restoration to homes.
Rose (24) was barren. And since in African tradition children can greatly determine the fate of a marriage, Rose's first husband divorced her. She visited many doctors, but all in vain. And as a result of her continued barrenness, marriage after marriage shared the same ending - divorce.
Rose grew more and more frustrated but didn't know what else to do... until one day when a glimmer of hope returned from hearing the Word of God preached on Favor FM. Could her current marriage have a happier ending?
A call to the radio station led to a home visit from the pastor Rose had heard. After a time of personal sharing, Rose and her current husband gave their lives to Christ.
Four months later, Rose called into the radio station again to share more good news - she and her husband conceived! When their son was born, they named him Jeremiah, meaning "God will establish."
"Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain." - Psalm 127:1, ESV
Lucy (25) was possessed. Often the demon inside her caused her to run mad and naked through the streets.
Her family tried all they could to restore their daughter to sanity, but to no avail. They eventually gave up on her... until one day when they heard the Gospel message preached on Favor FM. Was God powerful and loving enough to restore their family?
When Lucy's parents called into the radio station, the pastor they heard guided them the rest of the way to salvation. Further, he followed up with them in person to continue discipling them and to pray with them for their family.
God restored their daughter Lucy to sanity and brought her to salvation, free from demonic possession. Lucy now has a stable job in town and some well-wishers have offered her clothes and lodging in the town where she works.
Praise be to God for how He restores the foundations of home and family through prayer!
